A Friend

When I'm filled
With doubts and worries
When my spirit needs a lift

When I search
For strengths within me
And I find there's only rift

When I pray
For help from up above
And it seems
My woes won't end

Then God
Sends me His answer
Through the visit of a friend

Cause the lift that you gave
When you entered my life

May seem simply sweet
