Mind-Teasing Thoughts

Thoughts that tease my curious mind
Often seem to be unkind
They challenge me to deeds that I
Could not achieve, or even try
Yet, when I look about me
And see what others do
How can my mind conceive a dream
That never could come true?
Realities, that once were fantasies
Are now so commonplace
As minds like yours and mine engaged
To conquer time and space
Don't cast aside your dreams, my friend
Believe! They can come true
Your thoughts are possibilities
That somehow... you can do!

I have this day to live my life
These hours to work my plan
Yesterday..... is history!
Tomorrow..... yet at hand
The things I say,
The things I do

Will shape the future
I may live
